UGLY is ME

..And so sometimes its hard explaining to my husband why I absolutely NEEDED that overly sized hand carved African wooden necklace . Especially when it looks like this:

Oh- and did I mention that I probably have another 5 crazy, overly sized wooden necklaces that I have never even worn before? I even have a necklace with a parrot on it! 

Oh my life. What can I say? Maybe I just have them so I can admire them- and feel like I am soooo cool because I have  a million crazy wooden necklaces that no one else has.  I'm not all the way sure ? I just know that , well.....................I NEEDED THEM.

..And I cant always explain it. But.. well, you see.. here's the thing with me... I love those things- those “ UGLY” things. You can call them what you want- but if its “ Ugly” to you.. I probably-

 LOVE it! I mean what does the word " Ugly" even mean? Mayaswell speak Chinese to me - cuz I Just don't understand it.

In my world... my crazy Heather, Urthy Churchy, "everything goes" world, the word “Ugly” just doesn’t exist. Maybe because, I believe there is too much potential in too many things? I don't know? but- In so many ways, I can't stand the word " UGLY".  Not only in things - but also when it comes to PEOPLE. Too many things, and too many people get "over looked".. and "shelf ed"..and "pushed to the side" because they are labeled "Ugly"..... all because they didn't come into this life in " Model" packages, or  because they didn't get hung on the front row of the local designer Target rack. I'm sure the average "cookie cutter" chevron wearing, trendy, kind of person thinks I've actually lost my mind - and eaten sooo many carrots  that my vision has been been effected? -I don't know? .. but whatever the case, I DO KNOW, and I firmly believe, that 
                   " there is beauty all around." 
                                                      In things, in people...in places.. its everywhere.

                                           to ME.. "Ugly" is something be sought for

                ..and at the end of the day if “Ugly” is all of those things.. well.. then.. I guess .......
